HOW TO SEND NFT’S
Non-fungible tokens, or NFTs, are a newer form of digital assets that represent digital ownership of an item, most typically an image or a video. While NFT may be viewed by anybody, it is only owned and managed by a single digital wallet owner. NFTs are intimately connected to the cryptocurrency ecosystem and may be saved in a shared wallet with Ethereum or other compatible currencies.
Whether you are an NFT collector, producer, or fan, knowing how to move an NFT to another crypto wallet is essential.
How to transfer NFT:
- Go to your wallet and select NFT which you want to send
If you are using metamask or any other wallet, simply login and select the NFT which you desire to send. Click on NFT and choose send. If you are using opensea, select NFT and choose transfer.
- Enter recipients Wallet address or ENS
Following the selection of NFT to transfer, you will be required to input rececipent’s wallet public address or their Ethereum name service (ENS) – the counterpart of the domain name system (DNS) used on web 2.0.
- Pay the transaction fee
After entering the correct address, hit send or transfer and pay the transfer fees. Make sure your wallet has enough funds to cover transaction fees which can vary from 0.50 cents to $15 depending on which type of transaction mode you select. Fast transactions can cost more but it can transfer quickly.
- Confirm transaction on Etherscan or other chain you are using
Confirm your transaction on etherscan or solscan if using the solana chain. It can be found under the activity tab on wallets. Click on the transaction you need to verify and see its status on etherscan. It will show a success icon if it’s done successfully.
That’s how you transfer an NFT to another wallet. Make sure to use the correct address because if it’s lost, no one can recover your NFTs.
